“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”Psalm 147:3 (KJV)
For wounds that do not show on any scan, carried by people who have learned to function while hurting.
The verse uses the language of a physician: binding up. That is slow, deliberate, hands-on work, and it is not the same as making a wound vanish instantly. Scripture is honest about the pace of healing.
Some wounds came from what was done to you, some from what you did, and some from a loss nobody caused. God does not sort you into a queue by category before He will come near.
You are permitted to be honest here. You do not have to perform recovery for God, and you do not have to perform it for this ministry either. Bring the wound as it actually is.
A prayer to close
Lord, You heal the broken in heart. I bring You this wound as it really is, not as I usually present it. Bind it up in Your own time and Your own way. Amen.
