What we collect, why, and what we will never do

Christ World Church privacy policy: what personal information we collect, how prayer requests are kept private, how long we keep data, and how to have your details deleted.

Last updated 19 August 2026.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through a form: your name, email address, an optional country, and whatever you write in the message, prayer request, testimony, or volunteer application.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include the address your visit came from. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Prayer requests

Prayer requests are private by default. They are read only by members of the prayer team. We will never publish a prayer request, or any part of one, without asking you first and receiving a clear yes.

If you tick the box to allow follow-up, a member of the team may write back to you. If you do not tick it, we will pray and will not contact you.

Testimonies and community posts

A testimony is published only if you gave permission on the form, and you may ask for it to appear without your name. You can withdraw that permission at any time and we will remove it.

Community posts may be published under your display name or as Anonymous. Your email address is never shown publicly in any circumstance.

Email

We use your email address to reply to you, and to send the newsletter if you asked for it. Every newsletter includes a way to stop receiving it. We do not share your address with any other organisation.

How long we keep things

Prayer requests are kept while they are being prayed for and are then deleted, normally within twelve months. Contact messages are kept while the matter is open. Published testimonies remain until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it entirely. Write to us and we will act on it without argument.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, these rights are yours under data protection law; we extend the same treatment to everyone regardless of where they live.

Children

This website is intended for adults and for young people with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Cookies

The website itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. When member accounts open, a single sign-in cookie will be used to keep you logged in, and nothing else.
