Why we exist
Our purpose
Christ World Church exists to provide a continuous online place of worship, prayer, teaching, repentance, and spiritual encouragement for people across the world. We believe God's love is real, His mercy is available, His righteousness is holy, and His judgment is true.
This ministry began from a simple conviction: that a great many people genuinely believe in God and want to seek Him, but find themselves outside the doors of ordinary church life. Some work nights. Some are ill, or caring for someone who is. Some live where gathering openly is dangerous. Some carry a painful history with a church and are not ready to walk back into a building. None of that puts a person beyond the reach of God.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
That verse is the heartbeat of this ministry. God exists, and seeking Him is never wasted. Everything we publish here is built on those two convictions.
Our Commitments
What we believe and teach
Held simply, taught plainly, and open to examination against Scripture.
The Bible
We hold the Scriptures to be the word of God and our final authority for faith and practice. We quote the King James Version, which is in the public domain, and we always give the reference so that you can check it yourself.
God's love
God loved the world before the world loved Him, and He proved it by giving His Son. No one has to become presentable before coming to Him.
God's mercy
Mercy is not God ignoring sin. It is God bearing its cost at the cross and offering cleansing to everyone who will confess and turn.
God's righteousness
God is holy, and the righteousness He requires He also provides in Christ. We take obedience seriously as love's response, never as love's price.
God's judgment
Scripture promises a real accounting. We teach it soberly and hopefully, because a God who never judged would be a God indifferent to evil.
Repentance and salvation
Salvation is the free gift of God, received by repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned, bought, or inherited.
Prayer
Prayer is the believer's access to the Father at any hour. We pray for every request sent to us, and we never charge for it.
Practical ministry
Faith that never reaches the hands is not the faith the Bible describes. We serve practically wherever we are able.
A Welcoming Word
If church has been hard for you
Some people arrive here carrying a difficult history: attendance rules they could not keep, teaching they could not reconcile with Scripture, or hurt caused by people who should have cared for them. If that is you, you are welcome here, and you will not be shamed for it.
We will not attack any church or denomination. Many faithful congregations are doing good work, and we gladly help people find a healthy local church when they are ready. But nobody here has to prove their attendance record before they are allowed to seek God.
What we do ask is honesty. Come as you are, and let God do the changing.
