Community Guidelines
How we treat one another here
This community exists so that people can be honest about faith, doubt, and struggle without being attacked for it. These are the rules that make that possible. They apply to everyone, including the ministry team.
What We Ask
The rules, plainly
Speak truth with love
Say the hard thing kindly, or do not say it. Both halves of that phrase matter; neither is optional.
Use Scripture with its reference
Quote the Bible and say where it is from, so others can look it up and weigh it for themselves.
Assume the best of people
You are usually reading a stranger on a bad day, not an enemy. Ask before you accuse.
Let people be honest about doubt
Someone working through a question is not attacking your faith. Questions are welcome here.
Protect what is private
Do not repeat elsewhere what someone shared here, and never post another person's private details.
Report harm rather than fight it
If a post breaks these rules, use the report button. Do not appoint yourself to answer it.
No attacks on churches, pastors, or denominations
You may describe your own experience honestly. Naming and condemning a church or leader is not permitted here.
No personal attacks or harassment
Disagree with the argument, never with the person. Repeatedly pursuing someone will end your access.
No hate speech or threats
Nothing targeting anyone for their race, nationality, sex, or background. No threats of any kind.
No explicit content
Sensitive matters can be discussed with restraint and care. Graphic content will be removed.
No fundraising or selling
Do not solicit money, promote a business, or advertise a service, however worthy the cause.
No guaranteed-miracle claims
Do not promise anyone healing, wealth, or a specific outcome in God's name. Pray, and leave the answer with Him.
No spam or repeated posting
Post a matter once. Repeating it does not increase the number of people praying.
No political campaigning
This is not the place to argue for a party, a candidate, or a movement.
Review
How moderation works
Nothing here is designed to catch you out. It exists so that people sharing something painful are safe.
New posts are held for review before they appear. This usually takes a few hours and never means you did anything wrong.
Comments are reviewed as well. Guests may comment without an account; starting a post requires a free membership.
Moderators may edit for privacy (removing a surname or a phone number), close comments on a thread, or archive a post that has run its course.
If something you posted is rejected, you will be told why and may revise it.
Serious or repeated breaches lead to suspension. We would rather correct than remove, but the safety of the community comes first.
If this is an emergency, or you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services now. This website is not monitored around the clock and cannot provide an urgent response.
Prayer, biblical encouragement, and spiritual support are offered for faith and encouragement. They are not a substitute for emergency services, medical care, legal advice, or professional mental health care.
Questions about any of this?
Write to us. If you think a moderation decision was wrong, say so and we will look again.
