Victory Over Evil Attacks
How Scripture teaches believers to stand against evil, with authority in Christ and without fear or superstition.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 (KJV)

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)
A piece-by-piece look at Ephesians 6, and why almost every item listed is about ordinary faithfulness.
Read the list and notice how ordinary it is: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the word of God, and prayer. There is nothing exotic here. The armour is a description of a life lived honestly before God.
That is a corrective to any approach that treats spiritual protection as a formula. The person best protected is not the one who knows the most dramatic prayers, but the one walking in truth and righteousness.
The stated goal is repeated: that ye may be able to stand. Not to advance heroically or to hunt for battles, but to remain standing when pressure comes.
Put it on daily and deliberately. Truth instead of the small lies. Righteousness instead of the quiet compromise. Scripture in the mind. Prayer through the day.
Father, I put on the armour You have provided: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your word. Help me to stand firm today in Christ. Amen.

God did not wait for the world to become lovable. He loved it while it was still in rebellion, and He proved that love by giving His Son.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Mercy is not God pretending sin does not matter. It is God bearing the cost of it Himself and inviting the guilty home.
