“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
The verse this ministry is built on: God exists, and seeking Him is never wasted effort.
Two convictions are named here, and both are needed. First, that He is. Second, that seeking Him is rewarded. A person can believe God exists and still live as though seeking Him is pointless.
The word diligently matters. Not frantically, and not perfectly, but steadily. Seeking God is closer to tending a field than to winning a lottery, and Scripture attaches the promise to those who keep at it.
This is honest ground for anyone who is not certain yet. You do not need to arrive with settled convictions on every question. You need to genuinely seek, and God takes that seriously.
If you are searching, keep searching. He has committed Himself to reward it.
Key points
- Believe that He is, and that seeking Him is not wasted.
- Diligent means steady, not frantic or flawless.
- Honest seekers are welcome here.
A prayer to close
God, I believe that You are. Help my unbelief where it remains. I choose to seek You steadily, and I trust Your promise that such seeking is never wasted. Amen.
